🏳️🌈 Fiskars Pride on Friday, 27 June 2025! 🏳️🌈
🌈 The event begins at 1 PM on the green area next to the playground, where a living room–like space will be created. There will be various workshops, a café, music, LGBTQIA+ literature, and a Pride parade starting at 6 PM. The workshops, led by local creatives, offer experiences of sharing, belonging, and empowerment through bodily, verbal, and visual approaches.

🌈 Fiskars Pride aims to promote equality, inclusion, non-discrimination, and human rights, in line with the global Pride movement, while also showing solidarity with Palestine and Ukraine. Another goal is to raise awareness of the rights of LGBTQIA+ minorities and to offer a safer space for encounters. These issues are especially vital in times when human rights are being challenged globally and progress toward equality is being reversed.
🌈 We hope that the local community will join the Pride week by organising their own programs – for example, by offering theme-related products or activities. You’re warmly welcome to help make Pride a village-wide event!
🌈 Fiskars Pride is organised as a side program of the Utopia summer exhibition by the cooperative of artisans, designers, and artists in Fiskars, Onoma, in collaboration with the association Raseborgs Regnbåge.
Fiskars Pride progam:
13– LGBTQIA+ Living Room: café, music, LGBTQIA+ literature, open sign workshop, and hang out according to the safer space guidelines
13–15 Drop-in writing workshop and community art — we’ll decorate the park with word art inspired by the theme Utopia in the colours of the rainbow.
14–14.45 Pride Salsa! Joyful dancing and body positivity for everyone who wants to join ❤️
14.45–15.30 Heidi Paju reads their poems. Wish for a poem to be read!
15.30–17 Drop-in circus workshop — juggling and other circus activities. Suitable for all ages and families.
17– Opening of the Statement Pieces exhibition at Kulmassa (Kuparivasarantie 6, Paja-aukio)

18.30–20 Fiskars Freedance
20.00 The LGBTQIA+ Living Room closes — the party continues at Veitsitehdas
Throughout the entire event, two harassment counsellors will be present.
The Pride Week program continues in Fiskars during the Luovat pajat festival on June 28–29 from 11.00 to 16.00. The festival themes are rainbow, glitter, diversity, and identity.
